Terms of Sale for ALI - Academy of Learning Institute (ALI)

ARTICLE 1: PURPOSE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) and Terms and Conditions of Use (TCU) outline the rights and responsibilities of ALI - Academy of Learning Institute, hereinafter referred to as “the company,” and its customers, in the context of the online sale of course materials through its website.

ARTICLE 2: PURCHASE CONDITIONS
Customers must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to make purchases of course materials. Customers under 18 must obtain the consent of a legal guardian.

When placing their order, customers must provide accurate and complete information via the form available on the company’s website. ALI will use a web-based form for all contact purposes to minimize spam.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. ALI reserves the right to request verification of identity, eligibility, and the information provided if necessary.

ARTICLE 3: PRICING

3.1 Currency Used:
All prices are expressed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Customers are responsible for any additional bank or currency conversion charges applied by their financial institution.

3.2 Payment Methods:
Payments can be made via credit card, PayPal, or other approved payment methods. The company reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but the rates applied will be those in effect at the time of the order.

In case of lack of payment authorization or non-receipt of payment, the company reserves the right to suspend or cancel the order.

3.3 Transaction Confirmation:
Customers will receive a payment confirmation, including details of their purchase. ALI’s digital records will be used as proof of communication, orders, and payments.

ARTICLE 4: DELIVERY
Course materials will be available once payment has been received. Customers will receive an email containing links and necessary information to access the purchased course materials.

Course materials will be downloadable and accessible for the lifetime of the course. ALI accepts no responsibility for lost materials or access credentials.

ARTICLE 5: RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUNDS

5.1 Withdrawal Period:
Customers have a 30-day withdrawal period from the date of purchase to request a refund. After this period, refunds will no longer be applicable.

Refund requests must be submitted via the contact web form on the ALI website.

5.2 Refund Policy:
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. ALI is not responsible for banking delays, and customers should account for these when waiting for a refund.

Refunds will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • If the customer has opened or reviewed a module.
  • If the customer has received their course completion certificate.
  • If the refund request is made after the 30-day withdrawal period.
  • If the customer has requested a change of course or modification of their order.

ARTICLE 6: RESPONSIBILITIES

6.1 Responsibility of ALI:
ALI will provide access to course materials upon purchase. The company is not responsible for issues beyond its control, such as power outages, internet connectivity issues, or maintenance-related downtime.

6.2 Responsibility of the Customer:
The customer agrees to use the course materials for personal purposes only and will not distribute, share, or modify the materials for any other use.

ARTICLE 7: LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR COURSE APPLICATION
Courses provided by ALI are for educational purposes only. ALI is not responsible for the direct application of knowledge acquired from its courses. Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations and professional standards.

ARTICLE 8: LEGAL WARRANTY
ALI guarantees the conformity of its course materials with their descriptions.

ARTICLE 9: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All course content, including text, graphics, and software, is the property of ALI - Academy of Learning Institute or is used under proper licensing agreements, including photos sourced from websites that allow free commercial use.

Reproduction, modification, distribution, or unauthorized use of the course materials, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from ALI.

ARTICLE 10: PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
Customer information will be used exclusively by ALI and will not be shared with third parties. Customers may request the deletion of their information, which will result in the permanent loss of access to their account and course materials.

ARTICLE 11: INTERNATIONAL SALES
ALI’s courses are available globally, but customers are responsible for verifying the recognition and applicability of certifications in their country of residence.

ARTICLE 12: MODIFICATION OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ALI reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on the website. Customers are responsible for reviewing the terms regularly.

ARTICLE 13: PARTIAL NULLITY
If any clause is deemed null, illegal, or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the remaining clauses.

ARTICLE 14: APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. In the event of disputes, an amicable resolution will be sought before resorting to legal proceedings.

ARTICLE 15: SUBSCRIPTIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

15.1 Subscriptions:
Certain courses or services may be offered on a subscription basis. Customers agree to recurring billing when subscribing.

15.2 Cancellations:
Customers can cancel subscriptions via their account or the web-based form. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

ARTICLE 16: WORKBOOKS
Digital Workbooks are non-refundable once purchased due to their intangible nature. Customers should contact support for clarification before purchase.
